§ 110-81. Work hours of drivers; smoking by drivers; lost property.

  • (a)

    It shall be unlawful for any driver of a bus to operate the vehicle for more than 12 hours in any 24-hour period.

    (b)

    It shall be unlawful for any driver of a bus operated upon the public streets of the city to smoke cigarettes, cigars or pipe tobacco while such vehicle is occupied by a passenger.

    (c)

    Any driver or operator of a bus, discovering personal property which was apparently lost by a passenger, shall report such loss and deliver such property to the police department within 12 hours after the discovery of such property. Such property must be kept subject to the call of the owner for at least 30 days, at the end of which time it may be disposed of in accordance with law.
