§ 106-2. Short title and purpose.

(a)

Sections 106-2 through 106-8 of this Code shall be known and cited as the "Street Tree Ordinance".

(b)

This article is adopted to promote and protect the public health, safety, economic, and general welfare by improving the quality of the outdoor environment of the city by regulating the planting and maintenance of trees in and upon certain public rights-of-way within the city.
