§ 86-10. Depositing waste on street or sidewalk.

  • (a)

    No trash, rubbish or other foreign matter shall be thrown upon the streets or sidewalks of the city at random, but such material shall be stored in reusable containers which shall be placed adjacent to the sidewalk or curbline of the street in such a manner as not to obstruct the gutters.

    (b)

    It shall be unlawful for any person to throw or deposit, or cause to be thrown or deposited, any decayed fruit, wastepaper, shavings, offal, garbage, dirt or trash of any kind on any sidewalk, street, lane, road, alley, thoroughfare or right-of-way within the city limits.
