§ 2-222. Powers and duties.

The board of bond trustees, subject to the approval of the city commission, shall:

(1)

Receive from the city clerk all bills or copies of the same which request payment from the city;

(2)

Review all bills received by the city; and

(3)

Make recommendations to the city commission as to these bills, and either recommend that they be paid or to request the commission investigate the legitimacy of the bill.
