§ 2-33. Duties of chairman.

The mayor shall preside at all meetings thereof and shall have power to enforce such rules and regulations as may be adopted by the city commission for its government. In his absence or disqualification the city commission shall select one of its members as vice-mayor, who shall in all respects discharge the duties of the chairman, and his acts shall have the same force and effect as if he was the duly elected chairman of the commission.
