§ 22-191. Overcurrent protection required.

  • All circuits for light, heat, or power shall be protected against short circuits and overloading by approved automatic circuit breakers of not less than 60 amperes; such circuit breakers shall be for feeders to each apartment where there is more than one. The wire size between service equipment and each apartment shall be not smaller than no. 4 awg. aluminum or no. 6 awg. copper. No installation of electrical wiring will be considered as complete until a complete set of automatic circuit breakers as required are installed to protect the circuits and equipment. The word "approved" is defined as acceptable to the authority enforcing this article.
