§ 22-182. Permit required.

A permit will be required to install, change, or alter electric wiring and electric installations within the limits of the city or served by electricity through the distribution system of the city, except that permits will not be required for making repairs to existing wiring provided that such repairs will not change or alter the wiring or apparatus connected thereto. All permits shall be signed by the city clerk. The city clerk shall have the authority to reject any application for a permit which does not comply with the provisions of this article.
