§ 22-124. Qualifications and appointment of electrical inspector.

The electrical inspector shall be appointed by the city commission. The electrical inspector shall have the necessary training and technical knowledge to enable him to carry on the duties of office. He shall not have less than ten years' practical experience at the trade of electrical construction, or, if the electrical inspector is a graduate of an accredited school of electrical engineering, he shall have not less than four years' practical experience at the trade of electrical construction.
